Jordynn Scott, WHNP-BC
Jordynn Scott is a women’s health nurse practitioner who studied at Frontier Nursing University for her Masters and University of Southern Indiana for her undergraduate degree. Jordynn was a labor and delivery nurse for 5 years and was a travelling nurse for most of that time. She is originally from Indiana, but has practiced as a nurse in California, Oregon, and Maryland. She has gained experience in many different settings alongside midwives, fellow nurse practitioners, and doctors. Her passion in women’s health is driven by her desire to be an advocate for women’s rights.
Jordynn’s patients have stated in reviews that she provides a “safe and caring environment.”
It is her top priority to provide a caring space by providing trauma-informed care and utilizing active listening skills. Jordynn specializes in contraception discussions as she enjoys trying to find the best option for each unique patient situation.
In her free time, Jordynn enjoys playing volleyball and pickleball with her partner and friends. She is also learning more about her partner’s Korean culture and trying to learn the language. She visits her family in Indiana and enjoys being out on the lake and boating with them in the summers. A fun fact about Jordynn is that she used to race cars from ages 4.5 to 18 years old.
